NO STUDIO LIGHTING, VIDEO CARTS, OR “IN YOUR FACE” STYLE VIDEOGRAPHY!

The only light used is a 6-inch mini-fill light fixed to the top of the video camera.
It even has a dimmer that reduces light intensity when it is necessary to be closer to the subject!
Additionally, this light is used only during the reception…

NO LIGHTING IS USED DURING THE CEREMONY AT ALL!
There will be one stationary tripod set up at the place of ceremony for each video camera.
All ceremony restrictions will be discussed with your officiator prior to the ceremony.

We use Dutch angles, soft pans, slow zooms,
and subject framing that will appeal to the artist in you…

NO CHEESY WIPES OR SPECIAL EFFECTS!
Only elegantly soft digital effects, such as slow motion, old-film, sepia, and black and white,
are used in the fine-editing process. Dissolves (and cuts where appropriate) are used to
transition between scenes. Your finished video will be approximately one hour long and the
unedited digital images are included in every package for viewing at your own convenience.

DIGITAL...
The day’s events are captured on 3-chip digital camcorders and are fine-edited using an all-digital non-linear editing system. What does this mean to the consumer? Super crisp colors, ultra high contrast, and CD quality stereo audio…

WOW…ALL PACKAGES INCLUDE BOTH THE EDITED AND UNEDITED IMAGES ON DVD!
This final process allows for the maintenance of maximum quality digital imagery from start to finish!

OUR STAFF...

Brett Wasserman, owner and executive producer of Silhouette - Art on Video, began his journey learning the art of video production at Seminole Community College in Lake Mary, FL in 1994. He attended all available classes (they even had to make some new ones!) He aquired his first position at K & K Video and Film Production in Orlando FL. In 1996, the company sent him to Honolulu, HI to open and run K & K Video and Film Production, Pacific Region where he documented Japanese "intimate" weddings for 4 years. In 1999, he met his future wife Devorah (she was a Navy doc stationed at Pearl Harbour) who brought him to the Captial Region of New York where he now resides with his family.

Brett is also the owner and webmaster of AlbanyWeddings.com and the owner and creator of the Bridal Resource Center inside which his studio can be found.

Silhouette - Art on Video staff includes Master Shooter, Editor, and Post-Production Manager Richard Miller. Silhouette is also the proud employer of Master Shooter, Editor, and Studio Manager Michael Verenini.

The Bridal Resource Center is located in Crossgates Mall on the upper level near Macy*s and the all new multi-level Dick's Sporting Goods.
