Silhouette - Art on Video did my wedding video and was absolutely fabulous!

As far as videographers, there is always a choice... I looked around and in the process, watched a lot of boring clips of weddings that didn't really have any "substance" to them, other than a "documentary". When you see a video from Silhouette - Art on Video you will get a different "feel". I know I did, and can attest to the fact that others that have watched my 60-minute video have reported that it's like "watching a movie!!" Even my husband's "guy" friends, who literally "rolled their eyes" when I suggested to watch the video, really enjoyed it.

On my wedding day, Brett arrived a few minutes ahead of time, appropriately dressed and ready to work. His video camera was never in my way; never did I feel he was "hovering". At the same time, I never had to "look" for Brett. Somehow he was always there, ready to capture the perfect moment without interrupting it. He also captured better candid moments than my photographer!

I wasn't sure if I even wanted a video, but looking back, I'm so glad I did, and that it was Silhouette - Art on Video.

Dear Brett, Having watched our wedding video three times now, I thought a thank-you outside of your survey format was appropriate. Obviously, we were expecting quality or we wouldn't have hired you, but your finished product really exceeded our expectations.

Had it been up to me, we would never had hired a videographer. Our choice to find someone to record the ceremony was a concession made to Tony's English and Welsh relatives who wouldn't be able to attend. Otherwise, videography seemed like an unnecessary expense. Plus, it made me imagine what I'd seen at other weddings, basically someone balancing a huge camera for a questionable end: hours of boring footage. I saw no need for that sort of video - and still suspect that most wedding videos get buried after the wedding, only to see the light of day during divorce proceedings when one partner is alone and drunk.

You can't imagine how pleasantly surprised I was when we watched the clips on your website. Not only did your work strike me as properly paced and clevery edited, but recording a couple's love story (Naissance d' Fleur) seemed like a very natural extention of wedding videography, perhaps even more valuable than the record of the ceremony itself. Tony and I were happy to learn that you could film our love story on such short notice, and I was thrilled when you were glad to travel all morning so that the filming could take place in my favorite park.

Our tapes and DVD's showed up yesterday and we've already had more enjoyment out of them than I thought possible. You managed to include all the big stuff, like the vows I was almost too excited to understand. We also liked how you added many of the quirky things that make us different. That clip of Tony with the squishy heart was great, and we cracked up over your brilliant cut from the hairdresser's horsy laugh to my bridemaid Catherine rolling her eyes.

Thank you for giving us such a complete record. We treasure it already!

Brett, We received the videos yesterday. As far as the edited video goes we have one word, WOW!!! As we watched the video, Jess and I kept repeating, "This is so good". We definitely made the right decision when it came to our videographer.

You did a great job catching all of the days events, your editing was awesome, and your music selections were great as well. It was amazing to watch the unedited footage and see what a great product came out it. We can't imagine that there is a better videographer in the Albany area. Where do I begin to express our gratitude for the AMAZING job that you did on our wedding video? We laughed and cried and felt as if we were living our day all over again which is something I could never place a price tag on - Absolutely Priceless!

Your creativity is amazing and we are so glad that we decided to do a video and more importantly that we had you to do it. You captured every emotion felt on our big day and now we have it to view for the rest of our lives. To see people walking and talking was amazing and we got to see quite a few moments that I missed seeing on my wedding day with my own eyes. From the Desmond to the Capital Building. I absolutely love the footage you got with the horse and carriage and of the down time when we were just hanging out. The ceremony footage was incredible and I love what you did with it. The reception - very impressive. I love how you caught every moment from the moment we got there to the scanning of the clock at 2:15 - the trays filled with empty glasses and us leaving Birch Hill! Brett I am truly amazed and thank you from the bottom of our hearts. The footage in our hotel room - the raspy voices, excitement and exhaustion felt were a perfect ending. I absolutely love the montage at the end.

Watching our video for the first time, Natalie and Myself were truly breathless. From the music to the amazing camera angles and the use of black and white footage, the intimate moments Brett captured are absolutely amazing. There is not one thing he missed the entire day. Brett is more than a pleasure to work with, from the very early planning stages through the evening of the event. Brett was the first and last person we encountered on our wedding day, and in between we were hardly aware of his presence. He captures moments on film whose importance is immeasurable. Brett, It's been almost two years nows since you filmed our wedding at the Sagamore . We had a friend (a wedding guest) visiting this weekend who had not yet seen the wedding footage.
